Jake's Crew:
Jakobi Wan Kenobi, CEO (Canine Executive Officer)
"Jake" is a generous boss. A real Johnny Cash enthusiast; She has a lot in common with "A Boy Named Sue". This Girl named Jake's favorite activities include hiking, chasing squirrels, playing disc golf, riding in vehicles, eating, napping, cuddlin n luvin. She does not yet have a Colorado Drivers License, but she is very confident in her navigational skills. "The Force" is truly strong in this young Jedi apprentice. Sometimes Jake wears khakis. She's an excellent networker, and is often available (upon request) to meet with our VIP Clientele (that's YOU!) for important business and/or snuggle meetings on the road! |
"Bert" has been with Jake's Mountain Shuttle since 2011. He's an outdoors enthusiast, and Jakobi's obedient human. A true "van man" he quit his architectural design gig in St. Louis in 2007, bought an old VW hippy bus, and headed out west "On The Road" towards Oregon. He "settled" for a ski bum job with Camp Woodward at Copper Mountain, and got 167 days skiing on the mountain that first season. 11 years later, and he has never looked back. He is passionate about music, travel, hiking, dogs, skiing, monkeys, aardvarks, and growing his beard.

"Timmy" has been with Jake's Mountain Shuttle since 2013. He is obviously devastatingly handsome, and Hey Ladies; He's currently single! Just sayin'. His passions include snowboarding, skateboarding, cooking, and annihilating unsuspecting video gamers online. He is from Washington State, and he is v'ry successful at the shredding of the gnar. He is a better driver than you are. |
Andy Blumenthal has lived in Frisco, Colorado for thirty three years. He has averaged 125 days skiing, 100 days of golf and at least that many playing hockey. Somehow he’s figured out how to do that while holding 7 different jobs. Now in his fifth year with Jake’s Mountain Shuttle, he is down to 4 other jobs. Hailing from Rye, New York, Andy has forgotten all New York skills except how to properly fold a pizza slice. Andy’s Ski and Ride guides are small, pocket sized ski guides that Andy writes in is spare time. His books on Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone, Copper and Abasin are incredibly informative and has won him such accolades as Ski Bum of the Year, Denver Post 1998. No awards since then.... Andy’s hockey goalie skills have landed him the nickname Stonewall Blumenthal as his golf nickname is Longball Blumenthal. Catchy, but true? His knowledge of the surrounding mountains in both summer and winter are immense, and if you’re lucky he’ll tell you something you didn’t know. As a thirty+ year employee at Copper, he has a lifetime pass and if you marry him you'll get a free ski pass!

"Matt" is from Connecticut, and he instructs skiing and snowboarding at Keystone Resort. His sweet pup "Chief" wants to grow up to be like Jake! He was previously in the elevator business, but got outta that racket (due to all the ups and downs). His passion for driving in circles is unparalleled. He's quite adept at turning left, but it's his uncanny ability to also turn right that is truly astonishing: Heel side AND toe side turns! What?! Give him a shot... He most certainly will NOT disappoint you. |
"Tom" is also a ski and snowboard instructor at Keystone Resort. He is very passionate about music, and has a stellar vinyl collection to boot! He'll be sure to provide a mind expanding mobile rock symphony along the most direct route to your destination. He also might educate you about how he meticulously maintains such a silky smooth blonde flowing mane of a hair-doo. |
